More About Ian and Denise
Ian
Ian is a full-time Machinist with over 30 years of experience.
Ian grew up in Western NY and attended the Metal Institute for machining. He is interested in history, astronomy, and mythology (especially dragons). When he isn’t working or training horses, he enjoys making things with the lathe and mill in his garage. He also spends time riding his 4-wheeler and KX 250 dirt bike, and target practice with archery, pistols, and rifles.
Denise
Denise is a high school Math Teacher
Denise graduated from NCCC with an Associates Degree in Computer Programming, RIT with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computers and Criminal Justice, and Brockport University with a Master’s Degree in Education. She enjoys reading, crafts, her fish, and playing with her ferrets. When she isn’t working or training horses, she is doing carpentry, landscaping, mowing, or working on the websites for the online business.
Time Together
As busy as we both are, we still find time to spend together. In the early Spring, we can usually be found starting the reduction process of our tree sap over our backyard firepit. In the Fall, we enjoy our time spent harvesting our crops of Black Walnuts.
The rest of the year, we are in the barn or round pen taking care of, and training, our young horses. We also spend time with our six adopted cats who have found their way into our home and hearts. And lately, we have found a new hobby - caring for our flock of young chickens.
At some point, we are hoping to take a trip back to Scotland. We spent a month there years ago and plan to return when we retire from our full-time jobs.
But most of all, we enjoy watching movies while relaxing together in our hot tub! (and as busy as we are, we need it!)
