Black Walnut Pendants
These stunning pendants are made from the wood of a Black Walnut shell and colorful resin. They are lightweight and easy to wear. The rich browns of the walnut shells contrasts beautifully with the vibrant colors of the resin creating a truly eye catching necklace.

How We Create Our Jewelry
A lot of time and love is put into making every piece,
which takes and incredible 6 days to make.
First, the nuts must be hand gathered and harvested, hulled (the green outer layer is taken off), washed, float tested to remove bad nuts, and dried for two weeks in the sun. Only after all this is done, can we begin crafting our jewelry.
Day 1 – The nuts are sliced, the nut meat is removed, and each slice is cleaned using a scribe.
Day 2 – The slices are sanded, washed, and the wood is left to dry for 24 hours.
Day 3 – The colored resin is mixed and added to the intricate inner parts of the slice. It is delicate work, at time requiring a toothpick. The resin then takes 24 hours to cure in a sealed environment so no dust or other particles can create blemishes.
Day 4 – A top coat of clear resin is added to the front of the piece to give it a smooth finish. Again, it is placed in a sealed environment to cure for another 24 hours.
Day 5 – Another coat of clear resin is added to the back and live edges in order to seal the wood. Once again, it is placed in a sealed environment to cure for another 24 hours.
Day 6 – The piece is finally ready to be made into jewelry or a keychain!
