Apollo aka Gooitzen fan 't Wyldpaed was first noticed at the influential National Stallion Show as a three year old and subsequently exported to the United States from the Netherlands. Apollo was granted his Ster status while still abroad and has an impressive pedigree. He is by the Preferent FPS approved stallion, Feitse 293 and out of a Ster mare, Sonja K., by Teunis 332 Sport + Pref.

Gen’s Black Gin took the Walking Horse World by a storm becoming 2002 World Champion Three Year Old Stallion and World Grand Champion Three Year Old. In 2003 he became World Champion Owner-Amateur Four Year Old Stallion and World Grand Champion Owner-Amateur Four Year Old. In his last show ring appearance Black Gin became the 2006 World Champion Owner-Amateur 15.2 and Under Stallion. In his show career Black Gin was shown 15 times with 13 Championships and 1 reserve Championship.
Gen’s Black Gin was inducted into the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders & Exhibitors Association (TWHBEA) Hall Of Fame in 2020.
