5 oz. Black Walnut Syrup
The perfect old-fashioned addition to pancakes, waffles, and oatmeal. It can also be used in baking and sauces to infuse them with complex flavors. Drizzle it over ice cream, desserts, fruit, and even popcorn to add nutty overtones. And don’t forget to try mixing it into coffee, bourbon, and mixed drinks.

With a limited number of maple trees on our farm, this syrup is hand crafted by us in the traditional way - in small batches with utmost attention to quality and purity.

Next year we will be combining the deep, nutty flavor of our Black Walnut syrup with the sweet, rich flavor of maple. The combination was incredible and we sold out of all our samples this year before we could even get them up online.
Black Walnut Syrup Information
All our syrups are filtered 3 times:
First while it is being collected in late winter when the clear, icy cold sap starts to flow.
Then again during the boiling and reducing process, and again before it is bottled by hand.
This unique syrup is 100% natural and made from the sap of Black Walnut trees.
Flavor: Black Walnut syrup tastes markedly different from Maple syrup. It has a deep, rich, nutty, butterscotch flavor that is distinct to Black Walnuts.
Uses: In addition to pancakes, waffles, and oatmeal, it can be used in baking, sauces, drizzled over ice cream, desserts, fruit, and even popcorn. And don’t forget to try mixing it into coffee, bourbon, and mixed drinks.
Caution: Although Black Walnut syrup is not known to contain the allergenic protein that causes individuals with nut allergies to have a reaction, there is no proof that it is safe for them to consume. Therefore, we do not advise eating or gifting walnut syrup to individuals with known nut allergies.
